Looks like no one has above 73.8%. Most are at 72.7%. Looks like this was abandoned before others could seed...
It's slowly climbing. I don't know how this works.
WTF? 3.08GB for a 48mn program? The scene really needs to get its act together. I re-encoded this rip with Handbrake (CRF=20, frame lookahead=40, audio passthru) and it came out at 909MB; one third the size of this file, and with no visible difference in the video.

The extent of under-compression that the scene is dishing up in their 720p rips, whether TV or movies, is shameful. When you consider the amount of worldwide bandwidth that the scene is taking up, and the quantity of disk space required for everyone to keep their copies, you would have thought there'd be an eco-backlash.

Come on guys. 9200 kbps? Crazy.
@the_devious

Yeah dude! But I wouldn't say it's the Scene in general. It's mainly the assholes of Dimension, it's been 2 weeks (at least for Mad Men) that they have released ridiculously large files. The worst is that the quality of the video is not even better than the usual 1-1.2 GB file. Besides, they are not even consistent, prior to those 2 large releases they did one for Mad Men that was 900 MB. They fucking suck ass!!!

That's what happens when a group that had specialized on short TV shows (20 -22 min) starts releasing longer ones. In my opinion just wait for the Web-rip releases.
Completely agree with the above plus i dont know if u have noticed but this ep is too dark also, i wonder why other RG's are not releasing their rips like KILLERS for eg.
ALL THE 720P EPISODES WERE ABOUT 1GB/EPISODE - WHY IS THIS ONE 3GB?

I DONT COMPLAIN - I PREFER BETTER QUALITY AND BIGGER SIZE - BUT I AM JUST CURIOUS?
@hashuboy

When one group releases a show it "wins" the competition to be the first to do it. The scene has rules about this, so in order for another group to release another version of this episode of Mad Men, it would have to be nuked.

But apparently a RS can encode their video in whatever the fuck Kbps they feel like it! IMHO they should be nuked for this kind of bullshit!
